About

I’m Geoff Berg.  My awesome wife, Janice, and I live in Houston where I practice law, do some radio talk show hosting, television commentating and newspaper columning.  (If you’re looking, some radio stuff is here, TV here and newspaper here.)

I’ve been involved in politics since I went door to door for Jimmy Carter in 1976, when I was seven (I was for Reagan in ’80 — even an 11 year old has his limits).  Since then, I’ve worked for Michael Dukakis, Paul Tsongas, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama, and a host of state and local candidates.

Janice and I have a man-eating dog named Taggart.  He’s a Dogo Argentino, which, according to National Geographic, is the “ultimate” in man’s attempt to create the “perfect dog.”  (More on that below.)

By the way, Nachon means “correct” in Hebrew.  As you can imagine, knowing that comes in handy in Houston.
